Overview
Newly registered barristers LOK BEN and CHUNG CHING LING meet in the court, where LING mistakes BEN for a rapist. BEN’s friend MA TSING KIN, who is charged with illegal possession and storage of dangerous drugs, is taken to the court. KIN pleads guilty to the crime but BEN points out that he has been bribed by a rich young man. After investigation, KIN is found innocent but BEN is dismissed from his job because that rich young man is a significant client of the legal firm BEN is working for. BEN goes to the court to look for job opportunities. There he meets his old colleague JESSICA CHEUNG SZE KA, who actually comes to see VINCENT CHEUK WAI MING, the barrister who appears in court.
