Malibu, CA - Season 2 Episode 4 Chasing Stads

Things are going good for Jason, but not so good for Stads. He auditions for a coffeehouse gig and gets it; she is passed over for a promotion and is fired when she complains about it. To make her feel even worse, her hair dryer was responsible for an apartment fire. Stads comes by the Collins house feeling much better because she's decided to go to work in Europe for a year. Jason is jolted by this news. He prepares a romantic outdoor candlelight dinner and asks her to stay. She tells him no, that he can come with her. Jason doesn't want to leave his music career behind at this moment. After Stads departs for Europe, Jason says he's alright, but all his songs are about her. He also feels bad because Stads left after they fought. Jason decides to go after Stads and arrives at the German ski lodge where she is working, telling her he's going to spend the year with her.
