Overview
In 1944, the Allied Middle East Command assigned Greek officer Apergis, under the pseudonym Byron Tzavaras, to kidnap Wehrmacht Colonel Helmuth Bauschmer, a specialist in flying bombs, in an operation called "Isidora" aimed at preventing the delivery of this deadly weapon to Hitler.
